Just days after they gathered to say their final goodbyes to Nanny Pat, the Wright family attended the London premiere for Creed, The Rocky Legacy.

Michelle, 28, wasn’t at the screening, but Mark, also 28, was joined by sister Jessica, 30, and their parents Carol and Mark Sr.

Former Coronation Street star Michelle is heading to South Africa for two months to film BBC drama Our Girl, after she took over the lead role from EastEnders’ Lacey Turner.

The Wrights put on brave faces as they stuck together during their sadness, happily posing for waiting photographers at the premiere.

Nanny Pat – real name Patricia Brooker – tragically passed away just before Christmas, aged 80, after short illness.

Mark, who married Michelle in May last year, has remained mostly silent since losing his grandmother, but posted an emotional tribute to her on Instagram earlier this month.

Sharing a heartwarming snap of Michelle and Nanny Pat on the big day, Mark wrote: “Life is all about ups & downs. This year 1 special woman wowed to be in my life forever and 1 special woman left my life forever…

“Be prepared for the best & worst moments. Just sure in 2016 you take the best out of every moment and never take anyone or anything for granted [sic].”

Speaking to Star magazine, Mark said he’s going to do his best to visit Michelle while she’s away.

He said: “If I get a free week, for sure [I’ll go over]. I’m on Hear Radio twice a week, so I can’t be there for the whole time, but I’ll get over as much as I can.”
