The SCANDAL
Have you ever made rather derogatory comments about someone before meeting them, then years later become either really close friends or lovers?
We've all been there - you see a guy at a party who's WAY too drunk and dancing rather embarrassingly, you whisper a slightly mean comment to your friend. Then BAM - you get introduced and ten years later you're happily married with kids.
It's a classic case of judging a book by its cover. We've all been guilty of it. And, it turns out, so is Michelle Keegan...
Yep, that's right - our Golden Girl of the moment is just as human as anyone else.
It has come to light that Mich is guilty of making some rather scathing comments about none other than her own HUSBAND - Mark Wright.
The Manchester lass wrote about him in her column for Love It! magazine back in 2011 whilst discussing her love for The Only Way Is Essex, which Mark was starring in at the time.
TOWIE fans will already have worked out that that was the time when everything was kicking off with him and his then-girlfriend/fiancée, Lauren Goodger.
The column, entitled "Tut Tut, Mark!", started off rather complimentary about the show: "I love TOWIE! It's one of those shows you don't want to watch, but just can't help turning on."
But she then continued: "I don't know how Lauren can take Mark back so easily, though - it's so cringe! I wouldn't be able to get back with someone who'd slept with lots of girls I knew, but that's just me."
OUCH!
She went on: "I'm glad he still gave Love It! winner Terri a good night out. I'm just surprised he didn't try to crack on to her..."
What a STINGER.
She can't have thought it was that bad, since she's now married to the guy for nearly two years.
And although their marriage has been plagued in the past by rocky rumours, they seem really happy together and in a good, strong place.
Michelle uploaded this photo collage of herself and Mark on his 30th birthday on January 20th, captioning it: "Happy 30th birthday to the other half of me. @wrighty_ not only my husband but lucky enough to call my best friend. ❤️"
N'aww.
Mark then uploaded his own sweet snap on Valentine's Day last week, writing: "My Valentine, My Wife, @michkeegan ❤️"
Our hearts!
