Michelle and Mark, both 28, married in May this year after settling in his native Essex, where they’ve spent the last two Christmases.
So it’s understandable that this year they’re going up North to Michelle’s hometown of Manchester.
Speaking to OK! Online, Michelle said: “We’ve decided to go to Manchester this year because we’ve been in Essex two years in a row so it’s only fair we go up North and I’m excited to have Christmas with my mum and dad.
“My mum is doing a massive Christmas Eve party which will be good.”
Former Coronation Street star Michelle confessed she’s got no idea what Mark’s getting her – because she doesn’t even know what she wants herself.
She added: “I haven’t thought about it. I always decide after Christmas that I want something. But I do love Christmas and giving presents. That’s my favourite part.”
Michelle was quick to add that, while she can’t wait to spend the festive period with her family, the she’s loved the last two years with the Wrights.
She told Hello: “We had a great time but I think I’m going to really enjoy waking up in my mum’s house again and opening presents at my dad’s.”
