It seems that love definitely suits Michelle Keegan after she revealed that being with former TOWIE star Mark Wright makes her feel more confident in herself.
The former Coronation Street star told a women’s health magazine: 'Since I’ve been with Mark, I’ve been more confident simply because I’m happy. It’s a chain reaction.’
‘If you’re happy you feel it and look it. It starts on the inside. He compliments me a lot and I've never really had that before. Even when I don’t feel it, it’s still nice to hear because I’m not trying to impress anyone else; Mark’s the one that matters.’
Mark Wright: The TOWIE boys need to stop competing
Despite working as an actress, Michelle has admitted to struggling with shyness and nerves.
‘Maybe people assume I’ve got loads of confidence because I’m on TV but, like any girl, I have good and bad days.’
Mark Wright vs Elliot Wright: Whose your favourite?
Despite having a body that many women envy, even 26-year-old Michelle has her insecurities.
‘When I go to a busy place on holiday I don’t usually walk around in a bikini. There are parts of my body I don’t really like and parts I don’t mind. I’d love to be one of those girls who is really body-confident but I’m not.’
Michelle is currently auditioning for new roles after leaving Coronation Street earlier this year, though she recently told Closer that she is ‘too busy’ to plan her nuptials to 28-year-old fiancé Mark just yet.
