The actress, 26, who currently filming her character Tina McIntyre’s death scene has been on the soap since 2008.

Speaking to a UK magazine, Michelle said: “I’ll be crying my eyes out. I’ll be a mess because Corrie’s all I’ve ever known.

“I went into it when I was 19, nearly 20 – I didn’t know the business or the industry and I’ve grown up over the six years. So it’s going to be really sad.”

But Michelle revealed she plans to pinch a few items from set to remember her time on the show.

She said: “I’m going to take Tina’s earrings. I might take something from the Rovers – I’ll have a look around.”

It seems that Tina’s exit is going to be a gory one, as Michelle revealed this week that, while filming her final scenes, she has been scaring herself with the bloody make-up.

She insists she will not be appearing on any reality TV shows

“I have been filming night shoots all week on the Street, including my final scenes,” she said. “I have had fake bruises and fake blood on me, I keep forgetting and then glancing in the mirror and freaking myself out as the make-up looks so lifelike!”

And, despite not knowing exactly what she is going to do next, Michelle, who is engaged to Mark Wright, 28, has insisted she won’t appearing on any reality shows.

“I’d like a role in a period drama or a comedy,” she said. “You won’t see me on a celebrity reality show, I can’t see myself doing them.”
