According to sources, ITV are ‘desperate’ to sign Michelle, 26, up for an appearance on the show.
Speaking to a UK newspaper, a source said: “Michelle would be perfect for the jungle because she’s really popular and sexy.
“She’s got a massive following from Corrie so is bound to boost ratings.”
Michelle could also be persuaded by fiancé Mark Wright, 27, to appear on the show, as he was a contestant on 2011 series, finishing second.
As well as I’m a Celeb, bosses at ITV are reportedly planning to offer Michelle and Mark their own reality show which will follow them as they plan their wedding.
A TV insider told the paper: “ITV are still keen to work with Mark and they know there’s a lot of interest in him and Michelle.
“Getting them to star in their own reality show would be a massive hit.”
However, despite ITV’s apparent enthusiasm to sign Michelle up for the reality shows, she was recently quoted as saying she would never do it.
When asked about her plans following her Corrie exit recently, she replied: “I’m definitely continuing with acting after Corrie because I absolutely love it.
“I’d like a role in a period drama or a comedy. You won’t see me on a celebrity reality show, I can’t see myself doing them.”
