The 27-year-old has revealed she’s landed her first movie role – is she about to say goodbye to soapland for good?

Speaking to The Sun, Michelle said: “I have been offered a role, which is so exciting. It’s a feature film. I can’t say much more about it but it’s a huge opportunity.”

Mark Wright’s fiancé certainly hasn’t been short of work since walking out Weatherfield last year.

She recently finished filming for BBC drama series Ordinary Lies, and has her fashion range with Lipsy.

Of Ordinary Lies, Michelle said: “The first job after Corrie was either going to make me feel like I’d made the right decision or the wrong decision.

“But I wasn’t homesick. Everyone was really welcoming. I’m feeling really positive about this year.”

Another reason Michelle has to be excited is, of course, her upcoming wedding. Speaking recently about her and presenter Mark’s big day, Michelle confessed she will be taking his name.

She told Hello! magazine: “We will be Mr and Mrs Wright. I will keep the name Keegan for work but for everything else in my life I will be Michelle Wright.”
