When the former Coronation Street actress was spotted partying without her wedding ring over the weekend, speculation quickly grew over her marriage to Mark Wright.
But the former TOWIE star’s wife has hit back at the rumours they’re on the rocks, telling fans she’s “sick” of people getting involved.
“'No wedding ring, no wedding ring' blah blah blah sooooo boring!!! Not that I have to explain but I'm SO sick of these stories…
“I work on camera so I take it off and put it somewhere safe... SIMPLE. Last night I went straight out after work... Hence the NO ring!!!
“That's the only comment I'm making!!!”
A close pal of the actress also defended her decision to leave her rock at home, telling Mail Online, “'Michelle left her wedding ring behind [for Ryan Thomas' leaving party] because she came straight from work on Friday.
"I don't know if you've seen the size of that ring but she does not want to lose that thing. She generally leaves it at home when she's filming.
"Mark is in Manchester this weekend for Soccer Aid and they will be celebrating her 29th together, afterwards."
The couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, have also been defended after they appeared to be arguing outside his football match.
A source told The Sun, “Mark and Michelle were chatting about the traffic after she came to meet them.
“They are really bemused about the speculation surrounding their marriage as they are as happy as ever.
“They have been forced to spend time apart because of work commitments but cherish any time they do get together.”
