Michelle Heaton, 35, carries the BRCA2 gene, which gives her a 40 per cent chance of getting ovarian cancer.

The Liberty X singer previously underwent a double mastectomy, as the gene increases the possibility of breast cancer, and has revealed that she is finding it tougher to make a decision about a hysterectomy.
However the mum-of-two has revealed that she recently had an ovarian cancer scare.
She said: "Over the last month or so I've been experiencing things that you get when you're pregnant, like bloating, cramps and bleeding.
"I went in for a scan and it came back that I had fibroids [a non-cancerous tumour around the womb]."

When asked whether it crossed her mind that the symptoms may have been ovarian cancer, the 35-year-old said: "Absolutely. Every day I would think that it might be cancer.
"If I get a lump or something, I always think, is that it now?
"It is inevitable that you think like that when you carry the cancer gene."

Michelle is mum to daughter Faith, 2, and son Aaron, five-months, and it’s because of them that she is having the operation; to ensure she’s around to watch them grow up.
She has said in the past: “Every time I look at my kids, I know why I’m doing this [the hysterectomy]… so I’m around and there’s no risk of ever leaving them without a mum.”
And the busy mum has definitely met some milestones with her little ones this week, as daughter Faith just enjoyed her first full day at school.

Michelle tweeted: "Faiths first full day pre-school-Stood at door waving shedding a tear-She couldn't give 2 hoots, ran straight 2dolls house #missindependent"
And, despite still having baby AJ at home with her, the proud mum revealed that her son is a "great napper", giving her time to rest.
