Singer Michael Bublé's son Noah received treatment for liver cancer

Michael Bublé's brother-in-law has announced that the singer's three-year-old Noah is "doing well".

Actor Dario Lopilato, brother of Michael's singer wife Luisana, spoke to newspaper La Nacion in his home country of Argentina and revealed that the little boy is getting better.

Little Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer back in November last year after the family took him to doctors thinking he had mumps.

His uncle, Dario, said to La Nacion that Noah was doing "very well", adding: "For me it's very difficult to talk about it.

"But I believe in God and sought comfort in Jesus Christ and a miracle from God came, from the way it was discovered, after the operation, everything."

This comes after Daniela Lopilato, Luisana's sister, told an Argentinian publication that his cancer "had gone" early last month.

Following Daniela's revelation, Michael and his wife Luisana published a statement on his Facebook page which read: "We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy.

"He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us. Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words.

"We'd like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us. As we continue this journey we are greatly comforted by your support and love."

Noah started chemotherapy very soon after his diagnosis, enduring a four-month course in Los Angeles after the diagnosis in Argentina.

He seemed to respond to the treatment almost straight away, with doctors even saying that he was well enough to spend last Christmas at home.

Michael also pulled out of hosting the BRITs last month to care for his son, being replaced by Dermot O'Leary and Emma Willis. Dermot said: "Michael is an effortless show man, so those patent shoes will not be easy to fill."
