Michael Bublé is set to appear in public for the first time since his three-year-old son Noah's cancer diagnosis
We were absolutely delighted and relieved to hear that Michael Bublé's three-year-old son Noah had made a full recovery from liver cancer when his Argentinian singer/actress mum Luisiana Lopilato confirmed the happy news at a press conference.
After being diagnosed with liver cancer back in November, Michael and Luisiana immediately went into lockdown to care for little Noah, who immediately underwent treatment for the life-threatening disease and, thankfully, survived.
The Canadian crooner, quite rightly, cancelled his gig of hosting the BRITs earlier this year to care for Noah, and hasn't been seen since before the diagnosis.
But, we're sure you'll be pleased to hear, we'll be treated to seeing Michael out in public again as he is set to appear at a Canadian awards ceremony next month.
He'll be receiving the National Arts Centre Award at Canada's National Arts Centre in Ottawa on 28 June from the Governor General of Canada, David Johnston.
Mr Johnston made a statement about Michael, saying that the annual award is a "recognition of recent exceptional work by a performing artist."
He said: "We are delighted that Michael Bublé and his family are doing so well, and that they will all be joining us. All of Canada wishes the Bublé family the very best.
"Michael Bublé is an exceptional singer and songwriter whose voice and stage presence have captured the hearts of audiences across Canada and around the world. We believe the award will be like a homecoming for him in 2017."
N'aww, how lovely!
