UPDATE: Police have now released Justin's arrest report as well as a mugshot picture of the star (above)

The arrest report stated that police initially pulled over the star when they caught him drag racing. It then says that they 'immediately smelled an odour of alcohol eminating from the driver's breath.'

According to the report, when the police officer asked Justin to place his hands on top of his car so he could be searched for weapons, the singer said 'what the f*** did I do. Why did you stop me?'

It also read that Justin claimed he wasn't drunk and he was returning from a recording studio and that the police officer observed that he had a 'flushed face' and 'bloodshot eyes.'

Miami Beach Police tweeted: ‘#BreakingNews confirming @justinbieber has been arrested for DUI & Drag Racing more info & press release coming.’

Several news sources have reported that Justin was arrested while racing in his Lamborghini and failed a sobriety test at the scene.

The singer was taken to the police station where he is being held in police custody and awaits further tests to find out if he was driving over the legal limit.

The arrest comes just weeks after Justin reportedly landed in hot water after causing £20,000 of vandalism to a neighbour’s property during an egging spree.

The incident prompted police to search Justin’s house, which led to the arrest of one of the singer’s close friends after they allegedly discovered drugs on the property.

Justin was spotted in a Miami strip club a couple of days before the arrest where he reportedly spent over $75,000 in cash.

The singer’s mum, Pattie Mallette, only recently asked the public to ‘pray’ for her son rather than judge him.
