After coming down with a mystery illness yesterday, it’s believed that Mel, 39, is being treated in a private hospital and will not be able to make the final of the ITV show.
An insider told the Mirror: “She is in hospital and is seriously ill.
“We are awaiting the result of tests and then we will know exactly what is wrong.

“If I had to predict it, having seen her, I don’t think she will be able to do the show.”
It’s thought producers are now searching for a last minute replacement for Mel on the judging panel.
Yesterday the former Spice Girl missed the press conference due to the illness.
