Scary Spice Mel B has insisted she and her former band mates – Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell – will ‘definitely’ be doing something to celebrate.

Mel, 39, told toofab.com: “It doesn’t feel like 20 years to me, but I think it’s nice that we can celebrate and hopefully we’ll be doing stuff together to help everyone celebrate. So it will be something fun!

“I think we’re definitely going to be doing something. What that is, I can’t say because it’s not completely finalised, but I think it would be a shame not to celebrate 20 years.”

Mel was recently forced to miss Geri, 43, and 41-year-old Christian Horner’s wedding, but she caught up with her upon her arrival in London this week.

Sharing a snap of her with Geri and Emma, 39, Mel gushed: “Love my girls!!!! Friendship never ends it just gets stronger [sic].”

It might not be the anniversary until next year, but we hope we don’t have to wait too long for news of the Girls’ plans.

They’ve teased us with a few mini-reunions recently, with Emma, Geri and Melanie attending David Beckham’s 40th birthday in Marrakech, before the three of them hooked up again at the Isle Of Wight festival last week.

Anybody else hoping for a sequel to Spiceworld: The Movie?
