Famous for being the villain of the addictive Netflix series Married At First Sight Australia (the 2019 series is now airing in the UK), Jessika Power has since gone on to overhaul her entire body with cosmetic surgery, but insisted earlier this month that her enlarged boobs were “real”.

When asked by a fan on her Instagram Stories, Jessika, who has spent £30,000 on procedures, replied, “My boobs are real. I had a fat graft from Dr Anoop Rastogi in Sydney.”

Boosting her bra size from a C to a D cup, Jessika explained that her surgeon had taken 1.8L of fat “from the side and the inside of my thighs”, before separating the blood from the fat in a machine. She added, “The doctor then took a surgery needle and injected 30ml of fat into each breast.”

She revealed that she had “always wanted bigger boobs” but had been put off by the thought of the silicone implants traditionally used in breast enlargement surgery.

The procedure, called Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation, costs up to £7,500, and despite being called a “natural” process, recovery time can take 12 weeks, and you must be at least a UK size 10-12 to have enough fat reserves required.

While cosmetic surgery has long been the domain of models, actresses and reality TV stars, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons has reported a 70 per cent increase in virtual consultations.

The phenomenon is being labelled the “Zoom boom”, with plastic surgeons around the world being told by men and women alike that looking at their grey faces in a box during video calls has led to a huge uptake in a variety of new surgeries.

And Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s COVID “roadmap” announcement last month has been the catalyst for a rise in even more requests – with Harley Street consultant plastic surgeon Mark Ho-Asjoe revealing that his diary is quickly filling up with new bookings.

AWKWARD. Lauren is still a make-up artist, we don't know if she's dating anyone. But on the other hand, self-confessed fitness enthusiast Matthew is loved up with a new girlfriend - who he met at a wrestling tryout.

Married At First Sight Australia's Jess Power: ‘My new man knows the "real" me’

Married At First Sight Australia's Martha Kalifatidis: ‘Michael and I will have a baby next year!’

He says, “We have definitely seen an increase in requests for cosmetic procedures during lockdown. Working from home and the furlough scheme have meant that patients have weeks to recover in private without having to face anybody or go into the office.

“Facial surgeries, including facelifts, Botox and lip fillers, are more popular now. Lip fillers have always been popular, but face masks now allow patients to cover any swelling.

“There has also been a surge in liposuction requests due to people gaining weight, and eye treatments because people are noticing how tired they look on screens.”

Mark also reveals a rise in what has been referred to as “more natural procedures”, including fat transfers and less invasive treatments on areas such as legs, breasts and eyes.

Discussing the surgery fads of which we could soon be seeing more, he says, “There’s been a lot of fear-mongering over surgeries such as breast augmentation over the past ten years, so patients are looking at alternatives. Smaller procedures like ‘lip Botox’ and ‘cat-eyes’ are also being invented, but these can be more of a fashion trend.”
