The 21-year-old Geordie Shore star met Ricky, 24, at a National Television Awards after party last month, and they’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since.
Of course, their relationship comes after The Only Way Is Essex star Ricky’s high-profile break up with 29-year-old Jessica Wright.
Despite this, Marnie claims they are in love. Speaking to Star, she said: “I think it was me who said [I love you] first, when I’d had a couple of glasses of wine!
“If I’m enjoying something or I like doing it, I just go for it. I don’t hold back.”
But, as with most reality TV love stories, there have been rumours of a showmance between Ricky and Marnie.
But she has slammed these claims, adding: “I don’t really care what people say, if I’m honest. I don’t need to explain myself because I know it’s not for publicity. I don’t care what anyone else thinks.”
Jessica and Ricky called time on their relationship after she discovered he’d cheated, but Marnie isn’t worried. She said: “I always trust someone unless they’ve given me a reason not to.”
Obviously the most important question it: who’s better, Essex boys or Geordie boys?
“I’d say Essex boys are more romantic and much more gentlemanly than Newcastle lads,” she said.
