And following Ricky’s apparent revelation that he is no longer on the market, Marnie has hit back.

Although the tweets have since been deleted, former TOWIE star Ricky took to Twitter to plug a dating app- mentioning he was no longer on the market in the process.

Soon after, former Geordie Shore star Marnie shared her heartbreak on Twitter, writing:

"The official end to a very important chapter in my life. Thinking positive brings positive things. Moving forward to the future.

"Everything happens for a reason. If something isn’t meant to be, it won't be.”

The 22-year-old then shared a picture with the words: “The lessons we learn from pain will always make us the strongest."

However Ricky seemed less sentimental, tweeting: "It amazes me how even the most private of things are a priority to be tweeted. #thisisourgeneration.”

And this morning Marnie decided to show her ex-fiance what he was missing, sharing a very raunchy photo on Instagram, with the caption 'A tiger doesn't follow sheep’.

The snap got mixed reactions, with one user writing: ‘Making Ricky jealous’, and user itzcandyroxClass responding,’Class at its best lol. Guess that's what happens when you're unhappy and single.'

Another user wrote: 'And you were moaning about Ricki calling you a slag leopard never changes its spot you mean!(sic)'
