The husband and wife-to-be are always very public with their support of each other, and Mark, 28, was quick to praise 27-year-old Michelle for her latest acting role.
Michelle is currently featuring in the six-part BBC One drama Ordinary Lies and, during last night’s episode, viewers took to Twitter to applaud her.
One of those viewers was, of course, Mark, who gushed: “Love everyone saying how amazing @michkeegan is doing on ordinary lies !!
"Proudest husband to be alive !! The girl is born talent. #true [sic]”
Another showbiz pal to congratulate Michelle was Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.
Sarah wrote: “So great seeing u on to pastures new tonight @michkeegan… ur a wee belter girl… so great catching up recently. Girls night out soon!!! [sic]”
Michelle replied: “Awww thanks babe!!! Yeah defo let’s sort it!!! xx [sic].”
The former Coronation Street actress recently revealed she was feeling the pressure to do well in her first role since leaving the ITV soap.
But it seems she had nothing to worry about, judging by the overwhelming positive reaction.
After the show ended, Michelle tweeted: “Aaaand breathe.. Thankyou SO SO much for all your lovely comments, im so overwhelmed! Wish I could write back to every 1. Means so much 2 me.X [sic]”
