Newlyweds Mark and Michelle, both 28, were spotted in Los Angeles this week, and it’s been rumoured that they’re laying foundations for a more permanent move to the US.
John Ferriter, the man behind Ryan Seacrest’s presenting success, told the MailOnline: “American television networks have been following Mark Wright’s career in the UK and think he could be a big hit with American viewers and have flown him out for a series of private meetings.”
Mark is one of the more successful former TOWIE stars, having had stints on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here and Strictly Come Dancing, and he’s also hosted multiple shows – including a regular slot on Heart FM.
Former Coronation Street actress Michelle has landed many high-profile roles since quitting the Cobbles last year, and she’s admitted in the past that a move Stateside isn’t one she’s ruling out.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, Michelle said: “I’m doing dialect coaching at the minute so I’m trying to get my head around that.
“I’m learning different accents for different characters. I would like to go to America and try something so that I never look back and think, ‘What if’… we’ll see!”
Mark recently opened up about his new wife, insisting that her achievements post-Corrie have made him a very proud husband.
He told the Daily Star: “I am proud of her every day – personally and in her work. She’s one in a million.”
