They’ve been in a baby bubble ever since they welcomed their first child, Palma, together last month, and now insiders tell Closer that, while they’re still very much in the newborn phase, Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright are already looking to expand their family.
An insider tells Closer, ‘They are on cloud nine and are absolutely loving being parents – it’s all they ever dreamed of. Michelle is a total natural and Mark’s really taken to being a dad and is very hands-on, helping Michelle while juggling his own return to work.

‘As much as they are living in the present, they are already looking towards the future and discussing having another baby. It’s something they both definitely want, because they love the idea of Palma having a brother or sister to grow up with.’
Reality star Mark, 38, and actress Michelle, 37, welcomed baby Palma after 10 years of marriage, and recently shared their family getaway to Soho Farmhouse with fans on social media.

Mark – who has moved into TV and radio presenting since his reality TV days – has long been open about his dreams of becoming a dad one day, especially as he comes from a big family, with his siblings and parents appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, the show that catapulted him to stardom in 2010.
The insider says, ‘Mark and Michelle are both really big family people so they want a big family themselves.
‘They love being around their nearest and dearest, and Mark especially is from a large family. Having kids is always something Mark has dreamed of and he’d love his kids to have strong sibling bonds like he had.’

The Wright family also notoriously name their first-born sons after the dads, with Mark named after his dad, Mark Wright Snr. His brother Josh and cousin Elliott – who has recently announced he’s set to become a dad for the fifth time – have also both named their sons after themselves.
And the source says, ‘Mark’s loved the whole experience of welcoming Palma into the world, which is why he would love to experience it all over again. He’s told pals in the past how much he’d love to have a little boy one day and joked that another little Mark Jr would help keep the Wright legacy going!’
