Following some bizarre reports surrounding Lauren in recent weeks, which have included claims that she has ‘made up’ a secret boyfriend, Mark hit out at the Essex based reality star for continuing to refer to him in her weekly magazine column.

He wrote: ‘Please leave me out of your public conversations, stop embarrassing yourself. Start having some respect and MOVE ON. @laurengoodger.’

He added: ‘Its been well over two years and it still continues. I find it so disrespectful to myself but more importantly, my fiancée. Be a proper woman.’

Lauren responded, claiming that she had already moved on from the Essex lad: ‘@MarkWright_ sorry I think you need take it up with Bongo it's an automated tweet. #movedonlongtimeago thanks.’

Mark, 27, and Lauren, also 27, dated on and off for over 10 years after meeting at school. They starred in The Only Way Is Essex together, where viewers got a front seat to the ups and (mostly) downs of their tumultuous relationship.

During filming, Mark proposed to Lauren, but their happiness was short lived after it was claimed Mark cheated on her in Marbella with co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh.

Mark has since found love with 26-year-old Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan. He proposed to the actress last year and the couple are now planning their upcoming wedding.
