Mark Wright ‘bans’ Michelle Keegan from Strictly rehearsals

Mark Wright is taking Strictly Come Dancing seriously. So seriously that he has reportedly banned fiancée Michelle Keegan from watching him rehearse.

Viewers of the BBC One competition saw Mark just scrape through to the next round last weekend, and he's not taking any chances this week.

After admitting to host Claudia Winkleman that he was put off by his family and friends watching, he apparently doesn't want the distraction of his wife-to-be while he learns his next dance.

He said: "I've got a new rule: I'm not bringing Michelle, my mum, my dad, my sister again, because every time I look over at them I get [emotional]."

A source told heat: "He's asked Michelle not to sit in on rehearsals… He's told her he needs to concentrate.

"Michelle understands, but she's finding being a Strictly widow hard work."

But Michelle needn't worry as Mark seems to be combining learning the new dances with preparing for their upcoming nuptials.

After admitting that he 'almost cried with joy' over his dance on Saturday, he asked his partner Karen: "I'm getting married next year. Could this be the kind of dance that could work for the wedding?"

And, proving he's not about to fall victim to the 'Strictly curse', Mark confessed to struggling with the dance because Karen was not Michelle.

He said: "This is hard. If Michelle was here it would be more natural."
