Mario, who has recently been linked to TOWIE co-star Chloe Sims, has admitted to missing his ex and would even quit the show if it means giving the romance another chance.

Speaking to a UK magazine, 26-year-old Mario revealed: ‘I’ve said to the girl (Lucy) I’d happily leave TOWIE tomorrow if she says she wants to give it another go and get back together with me.'

‘She always says she’s scared and unsure because I keep getting seen with other girls, but I don’t understand what I’m meant to do. She’s saying she doesn’t want to be with me or speak to me again, then she gets in contact.’

Lucy admitted in her own magazine column that she had recently spent the night with Mario, but ‘nothing happened’ and they had ‘just cuddled.’

‘I’m meant to be waiting for her and proved I’ve changed, but at the same time I’m not allowed to talk to anyone else and she doesn’t want to be with me? It’s just a very confusing situation.’

Lucy and Mario met during their time on TOWIE and Mario proposed during a romantic holiday in Marbella.

The couple hit a rocky patch when Lucy found text messages from other girls on his phone, and she ultimately dumped him after discovering that he had cheated on her.
