Malin Andersson has shared a touching tribute to her late mother and daughter on Mother’s Day, posting emotional messages on her Instagram page.
The Love Island star lost her mother, Consy, to cancer in 2017, before her daughter – also named Consy –passed away earlier this year.

Sharing a video of her tiny daughter, the 26-year-old wrote, “I would have been the best Mumma to you. I know so. Please check my stories for anyone feeling alone today.”
Malin then posted a series of snaps on her Instagram stories. On one snap with her mother in the late stages of her illness, she wrote: “Look completely different to how I remember. I’m angry you took my little one but I know she’s safe with you. I love you unconditionally. You truly have given me your strength.”

The star then encouraged anyone struggling with grief this Mother’s Day to reach out and speak to charities, including Cruse Bereavement Care, Tommy’s and Child Bereavement UK. She added: “It doesn’t hurt to talk to someone. I am.”
Malin also shared a snap of a card she’d been given, which read: “'Dear mummy, me and grandma are very proud of you and she is taking good care of me. Please stay strong for me because that is what makes me happy. I love you lots, your angel Consy x."

The star’s daughter – who she shared with ex-boyfriend Tom Kemp - was born seven weeks prematurely in December and sadly passed away on 22 January.Shortly after they held their daughter’s funeral, the pair announced their separation.
Speaking about her grief, Malin has previously said, “I felt empty, I have a scar where my baby has been taken out of me but there is no baby. I am a mum without a baby. I couldn’t stop thinking, "why me?"’
Earlier this week, she opened up about the difficulties of dealing with Mother’s Day and praised her friends and family for helping her through the dark period. She went on to “salaute” mothers out there who were also dealing with the loss of a child and asked her fans to always “be kind to yourself.
