Last week on Made in Chelsea, we rolled our eyes in judgement as Stephanie Pratt went from berating her ex boyfriend Spencer Matthews and his cheating ways, to ‘hooking up’ with him during a Venice getaway after the loverat presented her with a Prada handbag.

And on last night’s episode, it was the turn of Binky Felstead to fall for the charms of a man who cannot keep his mouse in the house.

After discovering her boyfriend Alex Mytton had been unfaithful during a night out in Cambridge – blaming the age-old classic of a ‘mind blank’ – Binky invited the quaffed haired fellow into her house for a late night chat. Following Chelsea tradition, we can only assume Alex presented Binks with the entire Autumn Winter Prada collection because he left the following morning after a spending the night in her bed.

This revelation not only shocked us but also Binky’s fabulous mother, bringing the impeccably groomed star to tears and compromising the state of her perfectly applied lilac eye shadow.

“Who knows when he’ll do it again,” Mummy Felstead asked. Of Alex’s infidelties we presume and not his penchant to style his hair like a wave. And they were sound words, considering later on in the episode, Alex fessed up to Binks he’d been unfaithful on another three occasions. He was a little sketchy on the details but the poor lamb had been suffering another of his mind blanks. Bless.

And it seemed only Binky’s mate Lucy Watson was the true voice of reason in Chelsea, warning her pal to stay well away from the self-confessed cheat. Of course, Louise Thompson pushed for Binks to give her relationship with Alex another shot. But this is coming from a girl who still affectionately refers to her ex Spencer Matthews as ‘pug’ despite him shagging another woman in her bed.

And amid all the love rats and lotharios, it seemed the true romantic Stevie Johnson’s tokens of affection went unappreciated. New girl Riley Uggla looked less than impressed when Stevie bounded into the café she was working in to present her with a slice of homemade banana bread in some quality tupperware. Riley rolled her eyes at the gift, as if Stevie was an over enthused puppy who’d presented her with a decapitated pigeon he’d slaughtered in the back garden. What’s wrong with the girls in the Royal Borough? If there’s one thing that gets my motor going Stevie, it’s a man who can avoid sticking it to another woman during a messy mind blank and who appreciates the importance of baking and air tight tupperware. Let’s ride off into the sunset together Stevie and leave these foolish girls behind.
