Lea's co-star Chris also had his Twitter hacked this week
Fans rushed to tweet their shock at the news, with many of them simply replying: “What?!”

But Lea’s representatives quickly stepped in and claimed that her Twitter had in fact been hacked.
This comes just a day after Lea’s Glee co-star Chris Colfer’s account was also hacked.

A message sent allegedly from him claimed he was leaving the show ‘for personal reasons’.
However, 20th Century Fox said of the news: “We’ve been alerted that Chris Colfer’s Twitter account has been hacked. Rumours of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth.
“We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season.”
