A spokesman said: "Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours."

The show’s bosses could be forced to move the celebrities if torrential rain hits the camp as there is nowhere to shelter on Croc Creek.

A contingency plan by I’m A Celebrity would see the celebrities first moved to higher ground, as they are currently in a valley.

If camp then becomes too dangerous, and crew are unable to film, they would be evacuated.
