It’s been nearly a year since Loose Women’s Lynda Bellingham tragically passed away from cancer.

Now her widow Michael Pattemore has revealed that the selfless actress ‘begged’ him to promise that he would find love again after she had passed.

But the widower admits that he would find it difficult to move on from his late wife, claiming that he’ll ‘never meet anyone life her’.

The property develop told The Mirror: “Lynda genuinely did want me to meet someone.

“She was adamant that she didn’t want me to be alone and said I should re-marry. Even before she died, she said: ‘You have got to be with somebody’.”

Michael admits that he has taken a “couple of ladies out to dinner” but says that it will take him a long time before he can keep his promise to Lynda.

“Maybe I will be one day… But when you love someone like I loved Lynda - and I loved her to bits - there will never be anyone else like her. She is irreplaceable.

“When you have had something so good it is hard to find it again. I suppose I can’t be celibate the rest of my life. But Lynda will be a very hard act to follow and I can’t ever imagine getting re-married.”

Lynda passed away last October at the age of 66 following a battle with bowel cancer.

She made her last appearance on Loose Women just weeks before her tragic death.

The former star of the Oxo Ads’ passing triggered an outpouring of grief up and down the country.
