A fuming Lydia Bright is at war with Ryanair after she was allegedly left in Italy while the rest of her family jetted off on holiday.

The Only Way Is Essex star went on a furious Twitter rant, claiming that she had to stay in the UK and wait for a later flight while her loved ones caught an earlier flight to a group holiday.

Fashion boutique owner Lydia tweeted that she was bumped off the flight because her seat was allegedly double booked.

However, according to a Ryanair spokesperson, the airline does not overbook seats.

A staff member for the airline tweeted: "These claims are untrue as this customer boarded the aircraft and flew to London with 7 vacant seats. We apologise for any misunderstanding. Our 131m customers agree. TOWIRyanair!"

Lydia did later manage to make it out to Europe for some time in the sun and was on the same flight to her family on the way back to the UK but was left unimpressed.

She tweeted: "If the flight wasn't overbooked, then why wasn't myself and 4 other passengers allocated seat numbers & prevented from boarding?"

The company responded to say that she boarded the plane "without issue".

But this did not go down well with Lydia, who ranted: "Without an issue!! I wasn't allowed to board the plane until 2 mins before the already delayed flight departed. I was pacing the airport.

"Trying to rearrange transport for my family, looking into new flights & waiting for somebody to help me. There certainly was a lot of issues."

Hope you had a great holiday, Lydia!
