Lydia Bright and James ‘Arg’ Argent have been together on and off for seven years.
But, last week, it was revealed that the TOWIE couple had split yet again, with allegations that Arg’s partying had gotten out of hand.
He seemed pretty confident that the pair would get back together after a break, telling heat! magazine: "Me and Lydia are on a bit of a break at the moment.
“Of course I'm hoping that we'll get back together in the near future.”
However, when Lydia sat down with ITV’s Lorraine to speak about the split, she seemed to suggest that there was no hope of a reconciliation with her ex-boyfriend.
She said: “Me and James actually broke up so nearly seven weeks ago, which was a tough decision to make but I felt like I didn’t really have a choice.
“But I'm feeling a lot stronger, a lot happier now. I've just come back from visiting a friend in Indonesia and I went travelling round all the islands and it was an amazing trip and exactly what I needed.
“I came back feeling a lot more positive and a lot more strong and looking forward to the future.”
And Lydia has a LOT to look forward to!
She will be reporting live on Facebook for the High Street Fashion Awards next week - and, for the fashionista, it’s a dream come true.
The TOWIE star said: “My mum, pre becoming a foster parent, was a fashion buyer for Debenhams, so she's always been a massive follower of fashion, loves it. Very eccentric with her fashion sense.
“Over the years I feel like it's got a little bit more conservative but when I was younger it used to embarrass me. I remember this one time she turned up to school and she had a full on saree and clogs with bells on the bottom. Lorraine it was traumatic, everyone was like, ‘what is your mum wearing?’”
On her reporting role at Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards, Lydia added: “I am really looking forward to it - I'm honoured to be asked, thank you.”
The High Street Fashion Awards take place on 17th May in London, highlights from the event will be show on Lorraine the following day (18th May).
