Katie, 35, shocked us all last Wednesday when she announced on Twitter that her husband Kieran Hayler, 27, had been having a ‘seven-month-affair’ with her best friend, 50-year-old Jane Pountney,
Now Luisa has spoken out about the situation, saying that people should be sympathising with Katie rather than slamming her.
Writing in her column for the Daily Star, Luisa, 26, said: “[Katie] is the victim here and I think she was right to go public before the rumour mill started whirring and false accusations were potentially thrown around.
“If she wants the world to know that Kieran is a cheating a-hole – and cash in on it – then why the hell not?”
Former Apprentice contestant Luisa also said that Katie didn’t deserve the online backlash she received for going public with the news.
She added: “It’s a horrible situation to find yourself in at six-months pregnant, with an eight-month-old baby and a father doing the dirty on you – I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.”
The outspoken businesswoman also thinks that Katie should get rid of both Kieran and Jane. It has been reported that Kieran is still living in the martial home.
Luisa said: “Frankly, if it were me in Katie’s shoes, I’d cut my BFF out of my life and kick him to the curb. It’s the ultimate betrayal of the two people you trust most in life.
“My bestie and my partner mean everything to me and I couldn’t imagine that happening.”
