Luisa Zissman has always looked incredible, but this week she revealed the results of 10 weeks of intense training as she proudly paraded her toned figure for a shoot with Protein World.
While she toned up with a mixture of dance and gymnastic-based exercises the Big Brother’s Bit On The Side host told Closer it had nothing to do with public pressure to look a certain way.
She tells us: “I don’t feel under pressure to lose weight, what I find odd is being scrutinized and people thinking they have the right to say things about me. Now people know who I am they think it’s ok to go up to me and say I’ve got a big nose or I’m a loud mouth, people forget that you’re a person when you’re famous.”
But while she’s had a steep learning curve since she became a runner-up on the Apprentice last year – Luisa has adjusted to the negative comments she’s received.
She adds: “I’ve learned to toughen up and after some time now I think it’s funny when people are mean, it doesn’t bother me. If I cared what people thought of me I’d never get out of bed. I make money off the fact that people know who I am I don’t feel under pressure to change, I take the good with the bad.”
While she may currently be on a health kick Luisa insists she still indulges in sweet treats – whatever else can you expect from a baking entrepreneur?
She says: “I don’t eat cakes everyday, but I’m a great believer in live and let live, I snack on fruit and nuts and I try to encourage healthy eating at work. But I’ve got my cupcake book coming out so I’ve had to test lots of recipes and eat them all.”
