It's been a trying time for Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas lately - but that isn't stopping her from planning their future together.

Lucy dropped a huge hint that she's feeling broody after spending some quality with her pal's newborn daughter Lucy, posting a photo of her lovingly cradling the tot.

The former TOWIE star shared the photo on Twitter and wrote, "When big Lucy met Little Lucy 💕 she is pure perfection 💕".

The star then received a sweet reply from a fan, who wrote, "Adorable I bet it's making u broody I've 2 teenage kids and that is seriously.making me.broody so sweet XX".

Lucy seemed to agree with the comment when she liked the fan's tweet.

The photo comes soon after the star was spotted cosying up to a pal on a night out in Dubai, leading to speculation she had cheated on Ryan.

She was caught on camera rubbing her friend's back and kissing him on the cheek as they partied at The Penthouse in Five Palm, Dubai.

However the fitness guru remained defiant over the video and claimed they were simply saying their goodbyes.

She tweeted, "Since when has saying goodbye to a friend turned into a cosy night out?! 🤣 #ridiculous".

While the actor was said to be hurt by the video, he's made no secret of his desire to settle down with his girlfriend.

"Lucy is someone I want in my life for a very long time," he said earlier this year. "Marriage and babies… just taking it one day at a time."
