Pretty much everyone in the UK has fallen for Love Island’s relatable girl-next-door, Shaughna Phillips.
With hilarious one liners such as, “I might drown my sorrows, or just drown,” and, “Mike thinks he’s the Gok Wan of relationships.”
It’s no wonder she’s had us all in stitches since appearing on our screens.
However, a photo on her Instagram page has rustled a few fan’s feathers. The pic in question shows a head shot of the outspoken star that promotes a local hairdresser.
Fans have hinted that the star looks unrecognisable in the filtered image, with one follower saying, “So filtered.”

While another added, “Why so much photoshop?”
A third commented, “No lie though, she’s the next Molly-Mae.”
The reply to the comment was, “Nah, respect Molly-Mae please.”
Ironically, last year’s Love Island contestant Molly-Mae Hague received a backlash of negative comments over her Instagram pictures, which many fans thought were heavily filtered.
She was accused of ‘catfishing’ as some viewers claimed she looked nothing like the pictures in comparison to how she appeared on their TV screens.

Last night we saw the first episode of Casa Amor which showed Shaughna upset from the outset.
When she realised the boys had gone to Casa Amor without saying goodbye, she hilariously quipped, “I didn’t have time to threaten him…”
All the other girls were left a memento from their partners, but Shaughna’s other half Callum Jones, left nothing, not so much as a pair of boxers – it was almost as if he couldn’t get out of the villa quick enough. Who’d have thought it?

We imagine Callum’s behaviour since entering Casa Amor would only cause her more tears, as he appears to have a connection with fellow Mancunian Molly Smith, declaring he has an instant “sexual connection” with her on last night’s show.
When asked if he felt the same about Shaughna, Callum remained silent.
Let’s prey he stays true and resists temptation because Shaughna jokingly threatened to “kick off big time” if Callum returned to the villa with another girl.
“I’d probably cry, no, I think I might hit him.”
