Things got emotional for Love Island’s Rachel Christie during an emotional confrontation about her life as a single mum.

The 26-year-old was mocked after she revealed that she waits 3 months before sleeping with a potential partner.

Rachel revealed to her fellow Love Island contestants that her priority is her son Logan rather than finding nookie.

After becoming angry and emotional, the mum-of-one took off to the diary room where she confessed that she ‘has a child and bills to pay’ and that she ‘gets no help’.

Rachel appeared to be alluding to ex-boyfriend David McIntosh, who is dad to her 4-year-old son.

The straight talking Love Island contestant previously called out her ex and the alleged lack of involvement he has in his son’s life.

She said before heading into the Love Island house: “Every parent has a duty to take care of their responsibilities. He doesn’t see Logan. Being a man he should have a lot more contact with his son but I don't care for that anymore and I am just doing what I need to do to raise my little boy.”

Rachel added: “All I care about is my son, everyone else can do one really! If David turned up I’d be straight on the next plane back home. I want to have fun and meet someone.”

Former Gladiators star David was involved in a dramatic on/off relationship with model Kelly Brook until late last year.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITVBe.
