The Love Island star tragically passed away last month
The funeral of the late Love Island 2017 star Mike Thalassitis will take place today, with friend and co-star Montana Brown set to give a speech at the ceremony.
Mike tragically passed away last month aged 26; with police confirming the Celebs Go Dating star's cause of death was suicide.
Today (April 5th), Mike's loved ones will gather at Christ Church in Southgate, North London to say their goodbyes.
Sharing a heartfelt post of Mike on Instagram, Montana said: "Miss the FaceTimes 💔 never felt so empty and anxious. Hope you’re above listening to my speech today... I know you’re pointing your finger at me right now and saying “you cow” for uploading this 🙈 #youwillneverbeforgotten #loveyou" [sic].
She also uploaded an Instagram Story, saying: "Wished today would never come 😔💙".
Montana recently spoke of her friendship with Mike in an appearance on This Morning.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she said: "One of my friends texted me 'I don't know whether this is true, but Mike has taken his life.' I tried to call him and his phone went straight to answer phone."
Montana then revealed she had received a text message from Mike two days before his death. She continued: "I'm really kicking myself but he texted me and I didn't reply.
"When he was going through a really rough time I was checking up on him every day."

Explaining that Mike was seeing his therapist before his death, Montana added: "He just wanted someone to tell him how to get out of this dark place."
