Louise Redknapp reportedly filed for divorce just days before the end of the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
The singer and her former footballer husband Jamie went their separate ways amid rumours of cheating.
But she insists this is not the case despite her former professional Strictly dance partner Kevin Clifton still being close to her professionally having recently choreographed her comeback tour.
Louise and Jamie married in 1998 but on Friday, family court documents revealed they filed for divorce after their relationship had “irretrievably” broken after his “unreasonable behaviour”.
According to documents seen by The Sun on Sunday, Louise filed for divorce shortly after the Strictly tour was over.
A source previously told the newspaper that the pop star felt like a “Stepford wife” in her marriage, adding: “The marriage was over long before anyone previously believed.”
Jamie is said to have made the decision not to contest the divorce for the well-being of their children Charley and Beau.
Former Eternal singer Louise originally confirmed she had split from Jamie in October.
Louise has now thrown herself into her work and has embarked on a comeback tour as a solo singer.
