Because Louis, 63, has allegedly turned down a massive offer from the ITV show to return as a fifth impartial judge on The X Factor.
According to reports, the music manager was told he could earn £500,000 for a stint in the jungle, but Simon Cowell’s offer of his old judging job swayed him.
A source told the Mirror: “Louis looked like he was in the wilderness. But now he is one of the most in-demand men in TV.
“ITV approached him months ago to do I’m a Celebrity. He turned them down but in recent weeks they have come in again for him with a huge money offer.
“He met them to discuss it but now Simon is offering a place back on X Factor it seems unlikely he will be heading to Australia.”
In response to flagging ratings, Simon, 55, brought Louis back just months after axing him from the panel.
Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora were hired to replace Louis and Spice Girl Mel B, but allegedly haven’t had the desired impact on the show.
An insider revealed to The Sun: “[Louis] will be a neutral fifth judge who will sit in a special place away from the other judges to provide his own unbiased comments on the contestants.”
