It’s been rumoured that Louis Walsh has been asked to return to The X Factor in a last-ditch attempt to ‘save’ the show.
And it seems as if the Irish music manager has already decided that Nick Grimshaw is the one Simon Cowell should be blaming for the less-than-amazing viewing figures.
Speaking to Gogglebox’s Steph and Dom on their new show, he said: “It’s a bad booking.”
Ouch.
But the 63-year-old didn’t stop there.
Throwing some serious shade at Nick’s friendships with the likes of Harry Styles and co, he added: “He’s a nice enough guy but he’s like a groupie.
“You only ever see him with famous people.”
Louis, who has a long-running feud with Cheryl Fernandez-Versing (formerly known as Cheryl Cole), also couldn’t resist to take a swipe at the ex-Girls Aloud songstress.
He said mysteriously: “She’s very ambitious, she’s not there for the music.”
Meanwhile Nick, who appeared at the Pride Of Britain Awards, has spoken out about the backlash surrounding his X Factor judging skills.
The 31-year-old said: "That's kind of the gig, you sign up for it and that sort of thing happens. I'm still having so much fun, it's a ball!
"I don't really pay attention to stuff really. I read the papers for my job but I don't read it about me. If it's good, you'll go insane and if it's bad, you'll go insane."
Fingers crossed he doesn’t read Louis Walsh’s comments about him, eh? It’ll make working together PRETTY awkward if so…
