A statement announced the heart-breaking news: "It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin's family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016.

"Earlier this year, Johannah Deakin was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukaemia that required immediate and continuous treatment.

"We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private."

Johannah's husband Dan shared an incredible message following her death and many people and celebrities gave their condolences to the One Direction star including his former band member Zayn Malik.

And now Louis' stepdad Daniel has shared one last message from Johannah on her Twitter page: "Hi, it's Dan. Johannah asked for me to send this afterwards. She wanted to thank you all, and to let you know that you have been amazing right from the start.

"You changed Louis' life, but also her life. Your support now is as strong if not stronger than ever.

"So from Johannah one last time, thank you for everything xxx"
