It could be the exit factor for Louis Tomlinson if Simon Cowell goes ahead with his plan to transform the X Factor into an all-star series.
The music mogul plans to scrap the public competition in favour of a back to back series featuring celebrities and memorable contestants from past shows.
But the One Direction star, who mentored champion Dalton Harris in his first year as a judge, is not convinced by the format and revealed it's 'tempting' to walk away.
Louis admitted, “Personally I think it's about the public, you know what I mean? I think it should be about the public but anyway.”
When I ask about if he’ll go back, he admitted, “I don't know, honestly."

The X Factor 2018: 9 acts you NEED to know about (slider)
Miss Understood
Duo Miss Understood are Jeff and Stefan from London. They perform original song Juicy Fruit and, honestly, you'll be humming it for days. You'll probably end up spontaneously flossing, too. DON'T RESIST IT.
Andy Hofton
Andy's a Customer Sales Advisor from Macclesfield and, yep, he's a Robbie Williams superfan. After Simon puts a stop to his original track Castle of Love, Andy joins Robbie on stage for a special duet. We'll give you one guess which song they performed.
Ross Alexander
Put it this way, Ross is no wallflower. That's all we're saying for now.
Molly Scott
Molly's 16 from County Durham. Hailed a 'young Christina Aguilera,' she performs James Brown's Man's World.
Janice Robinson
50-year-old Janice is from Garfield, New Jersey and you might recognise her from that 1994 Livin' Joy bop Dreamer.
Danny Tetley
Benidorm bar singer Danny first auditioned for Simon Cowell seventeen years ago on Pop Idol. After being rejected almost two decades ago, will his cover of And I'm Telling You win over the judges?
Livia & the Elementals
Move over, The Pussycat Dolls; Livia & the Elementals are here for your crown. Ahem.
Kezia Povey
Kezia might only be 15, but her cover of Callum Scott's You Are the Reason has us bawling our eyes out (for all the right reasons.)
Charlotte Lee
17-year-old student Charlotte bonds with Louis Tomlinson over their hometown of Doncaster, but is her cover of P!nk's What About Us enough to win over Robbie, Ayda and Simon?

Louis also revealed the show may interfere with his plans to promote his upcoming new album.
"My priority this year is to get the album out at the end of this year," said Louis. "So it might clash, it might clash.”
On his friendship with Syco, Louis said, "Since the show I haven't even spoken to Simon.
“We're just kind of giving each other some space because we’d seen [each other] every single day."
Cowell pulled the plug on filming for The X Factor earlier this year and is keen to take 'drastic' action after ratings continued to plummet.
A TV insider said, “Simon wants to stop the bleed before it’s too late and is happy to take drastic action.

“He knows everything has a life-span in showbiz so the only way to stop that is to give the viewers something new and very different."
Simon recently revealed 'the time feels right' for a change.
He added, “We haven't exactly confirmed the dates or the order of the shows but essentially there are going to be two versions of X Factor running this year. I think it's going to be huge. It's the best I have felt about this show in years."
We can't wait!
