But the TV star has revealed her 'proper job' is being a mum.
And the mother-of-one has opened up about suffering a miscarriage when 20-year-old daughter Rosie was just 5.
Speaking about the tragic time, Lorraine told OK! magazine: "Another baby would have been super. But, hey, it didn’t happen.
"I had a miscarriage when Rosie was about five."
And Rosie recalls the moment it happened - although she didn't know what was going on.
The journalism student said: "I do remember. We were in Dundee. I was in the car with Dad following the ambulance.
“I was okay, though – I had no idea what was going on."
And Rosie says having a famous mum doesn't phase her.
Speaking to the Mail previously, she admitted: "I do remember when I was very young and we were out shopping being baffled that people were asking her for her autograph.
"I'd say, 'Why are you scribbling your name on bits of paper for people?' It all seemed very strange.
"People often ask me what it's like having a famous mother, but my mum's been famous all my life so I've never known any different.
"Of course, it has its ups and downs, but deep down she's always been just Mum to me."
