Lorraine Kelly has caused a right hoo ha by wearing this seemingly harmless (and may we say rather lovely) dress.

The TV presenter wore the black floral-print midi-dress from Next on her morning chat show Lorraine on Wednesday, and while most viewers didn't bat an eyelid, others were stunned at what they saw.

So, what exactly was the problem with Lorraine Kelly's dress?

Well it turns out she was wearing it back to front! Oops!

Yes, while Lorraine wore the dress as a cleavage-displaying V-neck, the V was actually meant to be at the back, and the front of the dress is meant to be high-necked with a zip detail.

Viewers may have been surprised at Lorraine's fashion faux pas, but we can see how it happened; we mean, zips usually go at the back, and V-necks at the front after all!

Fans quickly took to Twitter to express their shock, delight and insider knowledge about Lorraine's fashion mishap...

While some fans were 'distressed'...

And one fan even schooled us all in how the dress should have looked!

But while everyone's assuming Lorraine and her stylist simply made a mistake, we're wondering if they decided the dress just looked better back to front? After all, we do!

p.s. Fancy rocking this look yourself (back to front or the right way round), then you can get your very own black floral midi dress from Next for £40, here.
