But Lorraine Kelly had strong words to say about Jack Tweed after he claimed that he and his late wife Jade Goody sold fake stories to make money.
Writing in her column for The Sun, Lorraine scalded the former Big Brother star’s husband and said, “I have no idea why Jack would set out to rubbish the memory of his late wife Jade.
“She had a troubled life and used her reality-star fame to give her kids a secure future. I don’t know whether she did in fact make up stories about her life to earn a few bob. But in her situation, would anyone really blame her if she did?
“It’s something that, seven years down the line, none of us really needed to know and smacks of attention-seeking from Mr Tweed, who perhaps misses being in the public eye now he is no longer attached to a celebrity.”
Jade lost her life in 2009 after a seven-month battle with cervical cancer. She was 27 years old.
Jack, who was married to the star when she died, made the revelation last week, tweeting, “The amount of bullsh*t that me and jade used to make up When she wanted a new car or whatever just make some lie up every1 believes it 4 storys and 30k later ur laughing."
