Former TOWIE star Megan McKenna has addressed the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend Mike Thalassitis
The 26-year-old Love Island star was found hanged in a park near his Essex home in March; and now Megan has explained how she's coping following the devastating news.
Speaking on Loose Women, Megan said: "I’m doing okay, thank you for asking. I’ve actually just come back from Nashville because I’ve been out there; I’ve been putting everything into my work.
"I’ve been focusing on my work, writing my music and I feel like Nashville is my happy place."
Asked if working on music acts as 'therapy' to her, Megan explained: "Yeah, it is. Writing music is like therapy to me because it’s like writing everything down in a diary. It’s definitely my way of getting all my emotions and feelings out on paper."
It comes after Megan posted an emotional tribute to Mike on her Instagram page last month.
She said: "Sorry I haven't been on social media but I'm in complete shock and trying to come to terms with this. I can't believe I'm writing this post.
"My thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family. Rest in peace Mike."

Abs Breen
Where do we start with Abs, eh? Since Celebrity Love Island the 5ive singer's rejoined the band (through ITV2 show The Big Reunion), left the band again (via Twitter) and appeared on everything from Celebrity Big Brother (2013) to Country Strife: Abz on the Farm (2014). This year he appeared on Celebrity Come Dine With Me too. Oh yeah, and his name's spelt with a 'z' now.

Lee Otway
Former Hollyoaks star Lee went on to star in panto. Oh, and in 2015 he won a Royal Television Society Student Award for his work directing the pilot School on Report. Lee appeared in Doctors in 2019, but doesn't appear to have been up to much since then.

Alicia Douvall
Alicia Douvall obviously went in to the Celebrity Big Brother house. There's a recurring theme here, eh? She also became a self-confessed plastic surgery addict after her time on the show, going on to warn other celebs about the consequences of going under the knife.
Chris Brosnan
Call us lazy af but there's very little information as to what on Earth Chris has been up to since Love Island. Like, literally nothing.

WATCH Alexandra Cane reveals Love Island secrets producers don't want you to know
Mike's Love Island co-star Georgia Harrison also spoke of his untimely death recently, telling heatworld it's 'not fair' to blame the show's producers or aftercare system for the tragedy.
She said: "Personally, in terms of production within Love Island, they’ve always been amazing with me. They’ve always been really supportive. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities they’ve given me.
"I feel sorry for the production coming under target at the moment. I know a lot of it obviously revolves around Mike [Thalassitis], but no one knows what he was going through at the time and people shouldn’t have preconceived opinions on it.
"Only he knows how he felt at the time and it’s not fair to blame Love Island at all. I’m really happy with the aftercare, personally."
