Jacqueline Jossa was supposed to be on the ITV show to discuss her impending EastEnders return and her young daughter, Ella Selina.
However the Lauren Branning actress was left shocked when the Loose Women panel began probing her about her relationship with Dan Osborne, and his violent outbursts at ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin.
The former TOWIE star was at the centre of a scandal last year when audio footage of him making a series of threats to the mother of his one-year-old son, Teddy, were obtained by The Sun.
Jacqueline managed to remain cool during her appearance on the show, despite the awkward atmosphere, and addressed her future husband’s controversial outburst.
She said: "When that recording was recorded she wasn't born and he had just told her I was pregnant…
“It came out when she was born, nearly nine months after the recording had made. Daniel and I were dealing with it privately and it somehow came out and it wasn't private anymore."
However, despite her calm demeanour on the show, the young mum took to Twitter later that night to express how upset she was over the grilling she had received.
“Can't express how upset I am, was told the interview on loose women today was to be about being a young mum and going back to work,” she said.
“Don't know who's fault it was, but I made it clear I didn't want to dwell on the past, and answer certain questions.”
She continued: “Going on live tv is hard enough for me, but be told they would just touch on certain things, and them do the complete opposite is unfair.
“Wouldn't have done it otherwise, bored of talking about it all now! Was just unfair!”
And now Dan Osborne has also taken to the social media site to criticise the producers of the ITV show for their behaviour.
Taking to Twitter, Dan wrote: "Seen a load of tweeting about Jacqueline's Loose Women interview and people talking rubbish again...
“Here's my say.”
The former TOWIE star continued: “Those questions should have been questions asked to me.. Not Jacqueline AT ALL and I think she handled it very well actually."
He added: "Why those questions? I think it may have something to do with this man producing the show."
The dad of 2 shared a screen grab of a status written by the show’s producer written last year.
It said: "So stunning dreamboat Dan Osborne was a vile, foul mouthed monster all along then! Lets never speak of him, or give him attention again."
Dan then added: "Also, I said something I did not mean and in anger a year and 9 months ago!! Get over ittt!!
“The bottom line is I never physically hurt anyone.. I said some things in anger in THE worst time of my life.. That's it!!
"If everyone on earth had there arguments recorded.. I am sure 95% of you would listen back and hear things you OBVIOUSLY never meant.
"It's old and boring now.. We're all happy and doing great, all moved on. So now time for those last few people to do that too."
Dan finished his rant saying: "I felt bad for Jac if anything, she was actually looking forward to going on the show to talk about getting back to work and our daughter."
