It’s been a rough few months for Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards. The starlet split from fiancé Zayn Malik before being forced to take a harsh knock from in on social media in various instances.
Now it appears that the 22-year-old is ready to move on… with former TOWIE star Joey Essex!
The Mirror reports that the cute pair met at the Pride of Britain awards last month and have met up secretly on several occasions.
Joey, 25, recently split from ex-girlfriend Charlotte Stuchfield, 18, meaning he is well and truly back on the market.
A source told the paper: “It’s very early days, but Perrie likes Joey because he makes her laugh. They are just getting to know each other and taking things slowly, but Joey is already smitten.
“Perrie has just come out of a serious relationship and is enjoying having fun right now.”
Perrie and Zayn were together for nearly three years before the 22-year-old former One Direction star dumped Perrie by text over the summer.
Joey was previously engaged to TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers but the couple called time on their relationship a year ago.
Perrie admitted in a recent interview that she was ready to start dating again, saying: “I’m having an absolute blast. We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs... I love it.
“I’m feeling brilliant and I’m in a good place.”
