Singer-songwriter and all round nice guy Ed Sheeran has released not one but TWO new songs this morning.

The first track is called Shape Of You. It's upbeat and fun with a bit of sass, and is about how relationships seem to be more about the physical side of things rather than emotional these days. If you liked You Need Me, I Don't Need You, then you'll love this.

And fun fact: he originally wrote it for Rihanna. We're SO happy he kept it for himself though (sorry Riri).

The second is called Castle On The Hill. This song is really uplifting and a bit of an epic, and it's about how there's no place like home. N'aww. If you prefer Ed's stuff like The A Team and Thinking Out Loud, you'll be a fan of this.

Unsurprisingly, Ed's fans are pretty excited.

One commenter on Youtuber wrote: "ed sheeran is a legend for saving 2017 thank u"

While another chimmed in with: "YES YES YES 2017 IS OFF TO A GOOD START ED ED ED I'M SO HAPPY."

Talking about Shape of You on Radio 1 this morning, Ed told Scott Mills: "This was the last song that was finished, and I just didn't put two and two together that it was even gonna be on the album at all."

Well, we're SO happy it is. And even happier that you're back, Ed!
