"He chose the most beautiful diamond ring, which I love, and amazingly it fits me perfectly! It was such a great way to start the New Year," she told Fabulous magazine.

Lisa, 45, and George, 36, dated years ago however they split because of their eight years' age gap. Fast forward 14 years the pair were reintroduced by a mutual friend and began dating again.

The presenter and her fiancé have also spoken about having children and have decided against it, Lisa admitted: "I don’t want people to pity me. I've seen friend in their mid to late 40s struggle trying to get pregnant and it takes over their lives completely.

"George and I didn't want to go down that route. We're both really happy and don't want to put our relationship through that strain."

After having the conversation about kids the happy couple admitted they'd prefer to put all their energy into each other and travelling the world.

Congratulations to the pair!
