Lisa Riley, former Emmerdale star, has opened up on her plans to have her excess skin removed following her dramatic weight loss.
The 40-year-old Loose Women panelist - who dropped from a size 30 to a healthy size 14 - explained on the show the procedure she will be undergoing in March. She made in clear she’s not having a tummy tuck, instead she’s having a ‘Fleur De Lis’ which will tighten her tummy, her thighs and her “lady bits”.
The operation will be in two stages and Lisa explained to the panel what they surgeon will do: “The first one is the inside of my thighs which currently looks like a lump of tripe… and then the lady bit area.
“And then I’m going to have scars from the inside of my knee – like a banana - to the groin area.”
The former soap star then continued and explained the doctors will then tighten her stomach too. Lisa admitted she’s not worried about the scars because she had lots of stretch marks and confessed she’s not having the surgery for vanity reasons: “It’s what I want.
“It’s awful, and it’s gotten worse and worse. The reflection that I’m seeing now, it’s just horrendous.”
Aww bless her, good luck!
The Loose Women panelist has thanked her fans on Twitter for their support:
Lisa decided to become healthier and lose weight after her dad was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. She also admitted diets didn’t help with her weight loss: “I’ve not done a diet – diets don’t work.
“It’s been about awareness and lifestyle. I’m loads more active than I used to be,” she told Bella magazine.
We can’t wait to see her happier after her procedure.
